was held on Thursday, May 15, 2013

A special thank you to all who make this program a success: To the teachers, volunteers, schools for working with us and providing space for the program. To our board of directors and consultants for their expertise, encouragement and support. To all businesses and organizations that provided the funding, food, media coverage, gift cards or services to keep our program going. To the community for supporting our "Tag Days Fundraisers."

     Tutoring Sessions  are held at both schools (4) days per  week

Central Jr. High School 215 E. Central Blvd.  (3:00 - 4:15) Mon. - Thurs.

Wethersfield Jr. High School 439 Willard St.  (3:00 - 4:15) Mon. - Thurs.

 Volunteers are always needed..

(23) volunteer tutors and (5) site coordinators helped us to provide
(44) middle school students from both schools with 
afterschool and summer tutoring services.

  Thanks to Ronald McDonald Charities of the Quad Cities for a grant award in the amount of $6,000.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3)  charitable organization that supports existing agencies and schools in our community.

Sunshine will provide a variety of educational support services and programs to children and families.

Our unique "team building" concept addresses the voids and gaps in society. 

 
"Together we can get the job done."

We collaborate with existing educational, governmental and social service agencies to implement our programs, but we are a separate entity.

Any programs administered by our organization will be listed on this site
(currently the Step-Ladder Tutoring Program).
