Our agency, the Sunshine Community Services Center and our AmeriCorps members, have been
collaborating with coordinators at the Black Hawk College CEC for summer programing and assisting with
ESL and/or Citizenship classes during the school year. By utilizing the services of AmeriCorps members,
we also provide 4 weeks of instruction and tutoring during the summer. Some of our members also
assist in the classrooms during the fall and spring sessions.
